Once in 12 yearsPosted by Rakesh Vanamali (Ooty, India) on 16 February 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. The Neela (Blue) Kurunji bloom once in 12 years and the sight is one of the most spectacular vistas that the eye can feast on! Often covering a number of hills when they are in full bloom, they appear carpeting over mountains across the horizon. This is the sixth of the twelve pictures from the series "Where I went for an offsite" which my friend sent me via email I maintain a personal blog titled Redefining Oblivion and a Blog on Geo-politics.Do visit and observe your comments.
